GLOW Career & Empowerment Conference has ended
The Boston GLOW Career and Empowerment Conference is a day of community building and skill sharing among women and their allies. We seek to uplift and validate the characteristics that make us great employees, entrepreneurs, and leaders.

Due to the evolving risks associated with COVID-19, the 5th Annual #BostonGLOWcon will be a virtual event.

For an easy access to all links, we’ve created this Session Link Overview.

Please review this #BostonGLOWcon Participant Guide that contains details about how to access conference Zoom sessions, how to use the technology, and tips for a successful day. We recommend reading the guide before Saturday to make sure you are prepared. At any time, please feel free to send along questions to join@bostonglow.org or text 917-291-6666.

Nikki Spencer

Public Health Social Worker
Greater Boston Area
In my most recent position, I managed efforts to expand community engaged research at the Boston University Medical Campus. I worked to promote full involvement of patients and community stakeholders throughout the research process as partners and decision makers. This entailed helping researchers and our academic institutions develop the skills they need to be better partners themselves - including fostering cultural humility, clear communication, and equitable policies. My prior experience includes health communication research, school readiness programming in community health centers, and development and communications at a domestic violence services agency. I am currently seeking my next position and would love to talk to other folks working in health equity and/or community engagement!
